As the fall came upon us, so the leaves fell from the branches gloriously for the first time there was much
color to be seen against the Walls.
Everything that is worthwhile falls away and goes back to the
earth, leaving only a bear skeleton, the basic framework
which, like a skull, reminds us of the life that was.
Contained within this however, the potential for new life
greater than that which came before, waits dormant
until the spring when the warm air and bird song
envelops everything, and the children of God
sing and dance beneath the sun.
